Featuring the latest Burberry Classics and Summer 2024 collections by Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee, the store offers a selection of menswear, womenswear, shoes and accessories, including the Rocking Horse bag.
Burberry has opened a new store in Hangzhou, Mainland China located in the Hubin Yintai In77 shopping mall near West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
Showcasing menswear, womenswear, shoes, and accessories from the Summer 2024 collection by Daniel Lee, the store features locally crafted stone architecture and interiors with unique art pieces.
Crafted in Stone
The staircase and facade have been crafted by local stonemasons, drawing inspiration from classic London architecture and reflecting Burberry’s British heritage.
Artistic Interiors
Inside, the space displays unique wooden sculptural tables designed by artist Casey McCafferty, alongside rugs from British textile artist Tom Atton Moore, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to supporting independent artists.
New-Season Accessories
Debuted as part of the Winter 2023 collection, the Rocking Horse bag is inspired by Burberry’s spirit of innovation, creativity and equestrian heritage.
The bag’s design incorporates new house motifs through interlocking hardware in the shape of a lowercase ‘b’ and straps which attach to the bag using stitching in the shape of an uppercase B.
Classic house motifs such as the iconic Burberry Check, a pattern introduced in the 1920s, feature inside selected styles, while the Equestrian Knight Design is embossed on the back of the bag.
