ORIGINAL: With Fallout 76 getting a major popularity boost thanks to the recently released TV series on Amazon Prime, there’s never been a better time for developer Bethesda to launch some new content. The good news is that we don’t have long to wait for the next big Fallout 76 expansion, as Season 17 and Skyline Valley come to PlayStation, Xbox and PC on June 12. The Season 17 update is expected to go live following a period of server downtime, which based on previous seasons, will likely run from around 3pm BST UK time until 5pm BST. This means you should be able to to play Fallout 76’s Skyline Valley expansion at 5pm, provided you’ve downloaded and installed the latest patch. Daily Express will update this article once Bethesda officially announces its downtime plans.
Giving players a brand new area of the map to explore, the Skyline Valley update will certainly be worth downloading.
Skyline Valley will add the rolling hills of Shenandoah to the southwest area of the map, complete with a new Vault to locate.
According to Bethesda, Vault 63 is home to various Ghoul dwellers, which ties into the new Skyline Valley story missions.
Bethesda explains more: “Discover the location of Vault 63 and meet its cabal of Ghoul dwellers. Act as the enigmatic overseer’s gun for hire as you uncover mysteries that could change – or break – the Wasteland.”
The Season 17 update will also introduce new public events, as players team up to chase storms, gather electrical energy, and deal with Ghouls that are equipped with electrifying weapons.
Electricity will play a big part in the Skyline Valley expansion, with giant robots known as Storm Goliath serving as region bosses.

One of the better rewards is inspired by the iconic Jason Voorhees mask from Friday the 13th. Then there’s the Camp Counsellor outfit, the rowboat and the Dissection kit.
Elsewhere, fans will be able to purchase the Lost Treasures bundle, which contains the Vault 63 Power Armor paint and a jetpack.
“Also included is the V63 Chassis Display Frame for your power armor, a Moe the Mole Plushie and a Vault 63 Door Display for your C.A.M.P.
