RACHEL Stevens has said falling for Dancing on Ice star Brendyn Hatfield led to a “messy and scary” split from her husband.
The S Club 7 singer’s marriage to Alex Bourne, 47, was on the rocks when she met the skater three years ago.

Rachel announced her split from property developer Alex in July 2022.
In an interview with The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine, Rachel, 45, said: “It was messy.
“I knew that we were growing, that I was growing apart, but I was in turmoil, because, first of all, my kids.”
And on telling Alex about Brendyn, Rachel admitted: “It was really scary, because I knew as soon as I said that, that was it.”
About her new partner, Rachel said: “He’s a beautiful human.
“I really love him.”
We revealed last year the US-born ice skater, 38, fathered a child with a TV exec months before his relationship with Rachel.
Rachel also opened up about bandmate Paul Cattermole, who died aged 46 in April last year.
