A Guided Tour Through The ‘Soul of Cuba’

Traveling to Cuba is still somewhat complicated for Americans, but those who want to visit the island almost always seek the same kind of first visit—they want an “authentic” experience. Beginning in January, veteran travel company Geographic Expeditions will launch a series of tours called The Soul of Cuba. These 8-day excursions (which start at $6,390 per person) focus on Cuban culture, including the cuisine, art and music. There’s even a stop at Ernest Hemingway’s former Havana home, Finca Vigía, for a rum and cigar pairing.

Disney Cleared To Build Fifth Theme Park in Orlando

Last week, Florida granted Disney permission to move forward with its plans to invest up to $17 billion to expand Walt Disney World in Orlando. Those plans include building a fifth major theme park as well as adding two smaller parks (such as waterparks) and hotels. The last time Disney added a new major theme park to the resort was in 1998, when the 580-acre Animal Kingdom opened at a reported cost of nearly $1 billion.
