PUB giant Wetherspoons is slashing the price of seven of its drinks to as low as £1.79 at 700 of its boozers within days.
The popular chain, which runs over 800 locations across the UK, is dropping prices on ales, spirits and lager from September 18.
Customers will be able to pick up a pint of Ruddles Best for £1.79 as well as a single measure of Bell’s whiskey, including mixer, for the same price point.
Pints of Bud Light lager, Worthington’s Creamflow ale and Stowford Press Apple Cider will all be on sale for £1.99.
Fans of a splash of vodka can get a single measure of Au Vodka or XIX Vodka, including mixer, for just under £2 as well.
The pub is also launching a new food promotion from next Wednesday including a mix and match of chicken wings, bites and strips and Quorn nuggets.
The dishes will cost £2.99 each, but you can also mix and match two for £5.49, or get three of them for £7.49.
And Wetherspoons has also extended the sale of two other meals – the Sticky Korean fried chicken bowl and the Sticky Korean fried Quorn “no chicken” bowl.
A spokesperson for Wetherspoons said the latest offers don’t currently have an end date.
This is the full list of drinks that will be discounted at Wetherspoons:

On Thursday, Wetherspoons slashed the prices of its menu items to mark Tax Equality Day.
It meant punters looking to buy something got a 7.5% discount – so a normal £10 order would have costed £9.25.
Upon the launch of the offer, Spoons boss Tim Martin called for a VAT cut to 12.5% which he said would ensure pubs, bars and restaurants do not continue to close across the hospitality sector.
He said: “The biggest threat to the hospitality industry is the vast disparity in tax treatment among pubs, restaurants and supermarkets.
“Supermarkets pay zero VAT in respect of food sales, whereas pubs, bars and restaurants pay 20%.
“This tax benefit allows supermarkets to subsidise the selling price of beer.”
Wetherspoons’ latest drink and food offer is not the first to be launched by the chain in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, it slashed the price of a breakfast to £2.99 or less across 650 boozers.
On top of the 650 pubs offering the £2.99 or less offer, a further 129 are offering the small breakfast for £3.99.
The deal applies to Wetherspoon‘s small breakfast, which comes with a fried egg, bacon, Lincolnshire sausage, baked beans and hash brown (or potato scone in Scottish pubs).
Prices for the breakfast option vary across Spoons’ pubs, but normally sets customers back £4.45, meaning a saving of at least 32%.
Punters can add a Lavazza coffee or Twinings tea, as well as free refills, to the £2.99 or £3.99 offer for an extra £1.56.
Hungry customers can also add extras to the breakfast including black pudding, mushrooms, toast and tomatoes.
How can I save money at Wetherspoons?
FREE refills – Buy a £1.50 tea, coffee or hot chocolate and you can get free refills. The deal is available all day, every day.
Check a map – Prices can vary from one location the next, even those close to each other.
So if you’re planning a pint at a Spoons, it’s worth popping in nearby pubs to see if you’re settling in at the cheapest.
Choose your day – Each night the pub chain runs certain food theme nights.
For instance, every Thursday night is curry club, where diners can get a main meal and a drink for a set price cheaper than usual.
Pick-up vouchers – Students can often pick up voucher books in their local near universities, which offer discounts on food and drink, so keep your eyes peeled.
Get appy – The Wetherspoons app allows you to order and pay for your drink and food from your table – but you don’t need to be in the pub to use it.
Taking full advantage of this, cheeky customers have used social media to ask their friends and family to order them drinks. The app is free to download on the App Store or Google Play.
Check the date – Every year, Spoons holds its Tax Equality Day to highlight the benefits of a permanently reduced tax bill for the pub industry.
It usually takes place in September, and last year it fell on Thursday, September 14.
As well as its 12-day Real Ale Festival every Autumn, Wetherspoons also holds a Spring Festival.
