Everton are bracing themselves for opening offers for Jarrad Branthwaite over the coming days.
Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham have all expressed interest in the 21-year old England hopeful.
United and City are understood to be willing to offer over £50million for the centre back though Everton are expected to dig in their heels over their valuation.
Everton don’t want to sell Branthwaite but there is a recognition that players like him and midfielder Amadou Onana may be their best way of bringing in revenue after director of football Kevin Thelwell last week warned fans to expect sales.
United may offer a player as part of their bid but have other options also with the likes of Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice and Marc Guehi of Crystal Palace on their radar.
City may look to streamline their squad first before making their move but are confirmed admirers of the Carlisle-born defender.
Meanwhile, United striker Mason Greenwood is the subject of interest from Italian side Napoli.
Greenwood is wanted on another season loan by Getafe while there is also interest from mid-table Premier League sides.
It’s understood the 22-year old’s preference would be to move abroad this summer.
