England stars dominate rankings of the most expensive players when compared to Spain ahead of the Euro 2024 final in Berlin.

The CIES Football Observatory had ranked the Three Lions squad as having the highest transfer value ahead of the tournament.

Gareth Southgate‘s side were estimated to be worth £1.45billion, while Spain were ranked fourth at £919million.

This has been calculated by looking into the value of more than 6,000 transfer deals and the prices paid in the past for players with similar characteristics.

The research group has now ranked the top 10 players transfers values in the England and Spain squads as the two teams meet in the Euro 2024 final.

England stars dominate the list of highest valued players in the Euro 2024 finalists’ squads
Jude Bellingham is the highest valued player at £176m according to CIES Football Observatory
Lamine Yamal, the 17-year-old sensation, is Spain’s highest ranked player at fourth in the list

England star Jude Bellingham leads the way, with the Real Madrid midfielder estimated to be worth £245m (€285m), just over a year after he joined the Spanish giants for £113m.

Man City’s Phil Foden, the Premier League player of the season, and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka follow.

The pair are ranked second and third respectively at values of £176m (€205m) and £160m (€186m).

Spain’s 17-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal is La Roja’s highest ranked player in the list at fourth.

Yamal, who has shone for Spain throughout Euro 2024, has been valued at £134m (€156m) by CIES Football Observatory.

Cole Palmer, who has been used throughout Euro 2024 off the bench by Gareth Southgate, places fifth at £108m (€126m) ahead of £92m (€108m) valued Declan Rice.

Despite playing for only five minutes at Euro 2024 in their final group match against Slovenia, Anthony Gordon also features in the top 10 with a valuation of £74m (€87m).

The winger is ranked behind Rodri, with the Man City midfielder the second highest valued Spain player at £84m (€98m).

Nico Williams and injured midfielder Pedri complete the top 10, with both valued at an estimated £74m (€86m) and £73m (€85m).

Perhaps surprisingly England captain Harry Kane does not make the top 10, despite the 30-year-old joining Bayern Munich in a £100m move last summer.
