Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale‘s cast and crew have begun filming a dramatic fire storyline involving Cain Dingle and other key characters.
Cain will be involved in some dramatic rescue scenes later this year as disaster strikes in the Dales once again.
Paparazzi photographers caught the Emmerdale team shooting on location as they worked on a storyline involving a burning barn.
Cain and show newcomer John Sugden – played by former Coronation Street star Oliver Farnworth – can be seen carrying a limp body out of the blaze.

The bad boy’s wife Moira and resident schemer Ruby Fox-Miligan have been tipped to be at the centre of the storyline.
Onlookers heard Cain calling Moira’s name as the high-stakes scenes were being filmed, while Beth Cordingly – who plays Ruby – was spotted covered in dirt and soot.
Lucy Pargeter (Chas Dingle), Dean Andrews (Will Taylor) and Will Ash (Caleb Miligan) were also working on location for the dramatic episode.
Could Moira and Ruby’s recent feud flare up again, placing them both in terrible danger? Plus, could there be other casualties once the flames spread and rescue attempts begin? As ever, the full details will only be revealed when the episodes air in a few weeks’ time.

Emmerdale‘s new producer Sophie Roper recently teased this storyline at her first official press conference.
Roper commented: “We’ve got a lot of stunts coming up – some we’re actually filming this week.
“I’m not going to tell you too much, I’d get in trouble with the press team at my first press conference! But what I can tell you is there will be fire engines involved, so take from that what you will.
“It’s going to be a really explosive week of Emmerdale.”
Jeff Hordley’s real-life wife Zoe Henry, who plays Rhona Goskirk, also recently told The Sun that her husband has “a massive stunt involving fire and I think someone will get quite badly injured in that”.

Meanwhile, Oliver’s casting as a new member of the Sugden family was also announced last week.
Speaking about taking on the role of John, he commented: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the cast of Emmerdale. The show has such a rich history, and the Sugden family is integral to that. I’m looking forward to bringing my character to life and working with such a talented and dedicated team.”
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
