Harriet Dart has been knocked out of Wimbledon in the third round after losing a close contest against world No 42 Xinyu Wang.
The British tennis star was competing in the third round of a major for just the second time in her career having lost at the same stage of Wimbledon five years ago to No 1 seed Ash Barty.
She reached the third round this time with a dramatic win over British No 1 Katie Boulter on Thursday that went to a championship tiebreak.
That set up another tricky match against young Chinese star Wang, who reached the third round of the French Open this year.

The start of the match didn’t go to plan with rain on Saturday morning stopping play on the outside courts for two hours.
The sun eventually broke through with Dart already a break up in the early exchanges before she took the opening set.
And the British No 2 got the first break of the second set to move even closer to the next round.
However, Wang showed her class by immediately breaking back to bring the set level once more.
Both players were fighting on serve to avoid a third break of the set with Dart missing some good chances to get back in control.
And she was made to pay in the 11th game when the 22-year-old broke again before serving out for the set.
All the momentum was with Wang going into the third set, but Dart got off to the perfect start with a strong hold of serve to get back on track.
And she immediately got back on the front foot with an incredible break of serve and moved 3-0 up.

She didn’t have it her own way though and her frustrations were beginning to get the better of her as Wang took full advantage of some openings to get back on level terms.
And the Chinese star then broke Dart’s serve once again to take the lead for the first time in the match and move just two games away from victory.
