EastEnders bosses have revealed that Denise Fox’s future will be in the hands of the soap’s fans.
Viewers of the BBC show will be able to pick who the hairdresser will get into a relationship with as part of the live episode, which will air during the big 40th anniversary week.
The choice is between Denise’s estranged husband Jack or her toyboy lover Ravi Gulati.
EastEnders Executive producer Chris Clenshaw said of the exciting twist: ‘We’re all so excited to give our audience their first ever chance to decide how one of our big storylines plays out.
‘Their votes will determine whether Denise picks Jack or Ravi, with the outcome being revealed as part of our live episode.
‘There is a lot to come over the next few weeks for all three involved, so it’ll be extremely exciting to see which way the audience choose to take the story!’

As viewers will know, back in 2024, Jack and Denise’s marriage fell apart when it was found out that Jack had secretly been sleeping with Stacey Slater.
But in recent weeks Denise and Jack have managed to put things aside and have become closer again.
Denise hasn’t exactly been a saint herself…
At one point in 2023, Ravi invited Denise to spend the night at a hotel with him – but ultimately decided against it.
But as EastEnders fans know, Denise locked lips with Ravi during the Christmas Day episode.
To make matters more awkward, Denise’s daughter Chelsea used to date him.
Viewers have recently taken to X to share their thoughts on Denise and Ravi’s relationship.
One wrote on the platform: ‘It seems like they are keen on the two getting together. ‘
Denise and Ravi have had a past in recent years
Who will you pick Denise to get with? Maybe her husband Jack?
Another added: ‘I actually quite like Ravi and Denise together #Eastenders.’
A third chimed in: ‘Ravi professing his love for Denise in the rain. true romance, real lovers!!’
‘The sexual chemistry between Ravi and Denise is insane Denise & Ravi seriously need to happen, PLEASE,’ a fourth pleaded.
Back in February last year viewers shared their excitement when the two kissed on Valentine’s Day.
That’s not the only thing that viewers have to look forward to.
It was also revealed earlier this week that Reiss Coldwell will be visiting pregnant fiancée Sonia Fowler in jail.
The nurse is due to start the trial for the murder of Debbie.
She was framed for the murder back in the summer of 2024.
