Co-host Isabel Webster then gave Eamonn a nudge, telling him: “She says she loves you!”

Eamonn reciprocated the act of affection and blew Katona a kiss back, telling Isabel: “I know she does! There is no secret.”

Addressing Katona’s support behind the scenes following the announcement of his divorce, Eamonn then told her: “And thank you for all your kind messages, I appreciate it, thank you very much.”

Eamonn and Ruth had been married since 2010 and were in a relationship for almost 30 years. They share one son, Jack, who was born in 2002.

The couple also famously presented This Morning together for 15 years, before leaving the morning show in 2021.

Since the announcement was made, Langsford has remained absent from her ITV show Loose Women, where she is a regular host.
