During a segment featuring PS5 Pro architect Mark Cerny in today’s Sony State of Play, a number of games were confirmed to support Sony’s upcoming mid-gen refresh console, including Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Metal Gear Solid Delta, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Cerny referenced his 10-minute presentation from earlier this month in the new State of Play before teeing up a montage of big-name third-party games that will support Sony’s $700 enhanced PS5.
Though we haven’t yet played them on PS5, we have recently had hands-on previews with Dragon Age: The Veilguard (twice, in fact) and Metal Gear Solid Delta, which we felt was an incredibly faithful remake for better and for worse. Resident Evil 4 Remake, meanwhile, was the best kind of remake when it came out last year: a 10 out of 10 one. And Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which we hope to get our hands on soon, is due out on November 15. Here’s everything we know so far about the long-awaited Japan-set Assassin’s Creed game.
Catch up on everything announced at today’s State of Play livestream.
