Diesel has announced its first global male ambassador, calling upon MÃ¥neskin frontman Damiano David.
Working alongside creative director Glenn Martens on a yet-to-be-unveiled genderless capsule collection, David brings his glam rock punch to the fashion label. Founded in 1978 by Italian mastermind Renzo Rosso, recent years have seen Diesel rejuvenate its exclusive star-studded identity, redefining the boundaries of high fashion.
Introduced to the Diesel clique as a forward-thinking force of creativity and social change, David has consistently fought against the conventional, enforcing a more fluid approach to gender, sexuality and self-expression. In doing so, the artist invites an alternative approach to the brand, aligning itself as a vessel of exploration and world-building.
Unveiling his Diesel debut with a full look designed by Martens himself, the musician took to the 2024 Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume. Leaving room to wonder over his next steps, David foreshadows an even more bold and disruptive future for the fashion renegades.
Tune in now.
