Spoils of war continue to litter the battle-scarred grounds of Sanctuary as we head into Diablo 4 Season 5. And once the next major update hits, there’ll be even more loot to get your hands on after Blizzard revealed that it’s introducing 50 new Legendary and Unique items once it arrives. Yes, this means you can craft and customize even more fun builds to slay demon hordes with all of the exclusive aspects each one grants.

In an in-depth blog post in preparation for Diablo 4 Season 5, Blizzard added that these pieces of equipment are here to stay, so you can expect them to be a permanent part of the best Druid build and the best Necromancer build in Diablo 4 moving forward. Naturally, you can get them by simply playing through most of the game’s content, like Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons. But you’ll have an even easier time collecting these items through the upcoming roguelite mode, Infernal Hordes.

If you’ve been closely tuning into every developer update since launch, you’re probably already aware of this new mode. If not, though, let us give you a quick refresher. Infernal Hordes plays out much like Slay the Spire or Hades: you’ll be faced with demon hordes that you need to beat, after which you can choose between three Infernal Offers that can either help (or hinder) your run. Once you complete the final wave, you’ll take on the Fell Council, three bosses who, upon being defeated, will let you unlock Spoils of Hell using Burning Aether.

Unless you’ve played through the PTR, you’ll have to remain patient until the Diablo 4 Season 5 release date to discover these new items. But to keep your appetite for more loot satiated, some of the new uniques you can expect include an amulet that increases Critical Strike Chance and Boots that explode and deal fire damage after you use a cooldown skill. Of course, with the next major update only a few days away, you won’t have to wait excruciatingly long to try out these new hellish weapons and armor.
