A renowned Derby street food company will be embarking on the next leg of its countywide tour next weekend when it visits a popular Derbyshire shopping marina. Bustler Derby will be hosting a food and drink fair at Mercia Marina on Saturday, June 1, which hopes to highlight the region’s vibrant street food scene as well as providing family-friendly entertainment for all.
Bustler, which hosts an array of events throughout the year, has announced its upcoming tour: Bustler on the Road, which kickstarts on Sunday, May 26, with the Mickleover Summer Fete. Bustler was established in 2017 as a small street food market, before gradually forming into a multi-venue operation, with sites in Derby and Nottingham.
Today, it hosts monthly events, bringing street food from different countries and cultures to the city centre – but now looks to branch out to various sites across Derbyshire. It now invites its loyal followers and new visitors alike to experience the buzz by the water at the marina.

Join the Bustler team to sample delicious street food, soak up the lively atmosphere and visit charming shops and waterfront dining spots. Street food enthusiasts can look forward to an array of vendors such as Kebab Cartell, Yellow Yard Jamaican Patties, Lets Taco About It, and Pablos Burgers – all of which are set to bring sensational flavours and the freshest ingredients.
Cocktails and craft beers will also be on the menu, the perfect partner to some top-notch grub. The event is free to enter and free parking is also provided at the site, making it a family day out that won’t cost an arm and a leg.
