Ford vs Ball – Round 10
Ball with a better start to round 10. His energy really is something else.
Ford has fought at one pace so far throughout the fight. Whereas Ball looks comfortable fighting at different speeds.
Ford comes forward and lands a lovely left straight down the pipe in the final 30 seconds.
I’ve got this 6-4 Ball after 10.
Ford vs Ball – Round 9
Ford starts the ninth really well, landing an uppercut and a check-hook to get Ball’s attention.
Ford then lands to the body. None of this is deterring Ball, though. He keeps coming forward and lands a lovely uppercut on the inside.
This slower pace is suiting Ford for the most part right now, though. The fight is getting loser and closer as the rounds go on.
Ball never allows Ford to rest or admire his work.
Ford vs Ball – Round 8
Ford struggling to capitalise on a good seventh round as Ball comes forward and lands combos at will.
Blood coming from Ball’s nose, however. Ford is an incredibly accurate puncher, regardless of the power.
Ball’s feet have slowed a little but his hands are still flying like they were in the first round.
Ball then lands a nice left hand on the break. Seconds later Ford finds himself on the deck but it’s ruled a slip by the ref.
Ford vs Ball – Round 7
Again, Ball has success up close.
Ford tries to launch an attack from out of range but as he lunges in, Ball ducks out of the way.
Ball starting to read everything Ford throws at him here as he comes forward and lands a big uppercut.
But Ford comes back with a big shot himself! Planting his feet and throwing a shot which stops Ball in his tracks for a moment.
Ford ends the round with a body attack against the ropes before Ball spins him and throws at will himself.
