One of the highlights of the year for Dead By Daylight was the new 2v8 mode. This was available for a limited-time in its first iteration, and BeHaviour Interactive is planning to indulge fans with even more phases of the mode before it hopefully becomes permanent. It is set to return very soon, but leaks have revealed new killers and maps set to join DBD 2v8 mode at a later time.
Before two killers, eight survivors returns, the start time for Haunted By Daylight 2024 is imminent. This year’s Halloween event has some exclusive limited-time rewards to unlock, and there is more skin collections planned as part of the October 2024 roadmap. In addition, the upcoming weekly skin and charm bundles have leaked, too.
While BeHaviour’s Halloween event is the big attraction for October, next month will see the return of 2v8 mode to Dead By Daylight. The upcoming iteration is getting two new villains, and a further two new killers have leaked for the impending third iteration of the DBD LTM.
Dead By Daylight leaks reveal new 2v8 mode killers and maps
Leaker Aricarna on the DBDLeaks Discord has revealed two new killers set to join 2v8 mode next. These killers are The Oni and Legion.
In addition to these rogues, Aricarna claims we are also getting two new maps: Ormond and Sanctum of Wrath. It’s important to clarify that these are leaks rather than anything official.
Along with being leaks, it’s also important to clarify that the above will not be joining Dead By Daylight 2v8 in November as the new killers for the 2.0 iteration have already been announced. Seeing as they’re leaked to be “the next killers,” this presumably means they will be joining the third iteration of 2v8.
We don’t know when 2v8 3.0 will come out, but, if BeHaviour stick to a three month release schedule, then it could arrive in February.
As for November, three new killers are getting added: The Spirit, The Deathslinger, and The Blight. These will be in addition to the killers that were part of 2v8 mode back in August. Check out BeHaviour’s most recent livestream for even more details.
We still don’t know if we will get any licensed killers. BeHaviour has explained the difficulties with getting permission from licensors, and it’s possible some licensed killers may never join 2v8 mode because of the silliest reason.
