Dave Grohl previously admitted to cheating on his first wife Jennifer Leigh Youngblood – as the star fights to save his second marriage after fathering a secret love child.
The Foo Fighters singer, 55, who has been wed to Jordyn Blum, 48, since 2003, stunned fans on Tuesday when he admitted to welcoming a baby daughter outside his marriage in a shock post.
The statement read: ‘I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.
‘I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.’
Grohl divorced Youngblood in 1997 after admitting to infidelities during their three year marriage – per The Guardian.

He wed the photographer in 1994 – as the Foo Fighters debuted – but had separated by 1996.
After his marriage ended, Grohl reportedly started dating Louise Post from the band Veruca Salt.
The romance ended when during a 1997 show in Australia, a drunk Post claimed Grohl cheated on her with Winona Ryder.
In 2006 she said: ‘I didn’t mean for it to happen. I’m friends with him now.’
Grohl has denied ever hooking up with Ryder.
Grohl’s split from Youngblood caused ructions within the band – guitarist Pat Smear – who was friends with Youngblood, sided with her and left the band for eight years.
Grohl said of the union: ‘I was 25, my wife was even younger. We weren’t ready to get married. I miss her a ton, she’s the funniest goddamn weirdo you ever met in your life.
‘Absolutely adorable. It would have been better had we not got married. But you live and you learn.’

Grohl hinted track Everlong was inspired by Youngblood, saying: ‘I was breaking up with a girl that I had been with for a while, so I was sort of in the middle of this intense emotional period. And for whatever reason, the emotion or the feeling I got when I would play this succession of chords sort of touched on whatever emotion that was.
‘So because of the emotional place I was in I started writing the lyrics to this song and they come from a real place.’
Foo Fighters’ first single This Is A Call was written during the couple’s 1994 honeymoon in Dublin, Ireland.
Youngblood captured the front cover for Foo Fighters’ first album which is a ‘nod to sci-fi adventure hero Buck Rogers and his XZ-38 Disintegrator Pistol.’
In 1996, Dave appeared alongside Jennifer in an episode of The X Files from Season 3, Episode 17.
Grohl and Blum, 48, met in 2001 and have been married since 2003, sharing three daughters – Violet, Harper and Ophelia.

Recounting their first meeting in a 2007 GQ interview – and in a chilling premonition – Grohl told Jordyn she was his ‘future ex-wife’ as they chatted.
He said: ‘Taylor [Hawkins] and I were hanging out at the Sunset Marquis whiskey bar. Taylor was the looker. I mean, girls would send him drinks. Some bombshell comes up and starts talking to Taylor.
‘I was just out of a Tenacious D session. I’ve got Vans trainers on, no socks, dirty shorts and a dirty T-shirt, surrounded by beautiful Hollywood. She waved her friend Jordyn over. I was like, “Oh my God. Not a chance!” So I’m just having some drinks and acting like a jackass.
And by the end of the night I was pissed and I’m staring at her going, “You’re my future ex-wife.” So she gave me her number: ‘Jordyn, your future ex-wife.“
‘We saw each other a few times. But I realized that this was the flag, the finish line and I’m like, “Oh, wait a minute.” So I backed out.
Grohl told Elle in 2007 that he stopped calling Blum after a few dates.
He shared: ‘After three months, I had a revelation and called her back. She picked up the phone and said, “Oh, I never thought I’d hear from you again.”‘
While little is publicly known about Blum, People reported she once appeared on the cover of Teen – after being discovered at a supermarket when she was 12.
Blum was reportedly working as a producer at MTV when she met the frontman.
Blum has collaborated with the Foo Fighters several times, including in the band’s 2002 video White Limo, where she made an appearance.
She also co-directed the Foo Fighter’s 2002 Walking a Line music video.
In a January 2008 interview with GQ, Grohl revealed track Statues on his band’s sixth studio album Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace was inspired by him and his wife.
He said: ‘To me there’s nothing more beautiful than seeing the headstones of a husband and wife side by side in a graveyard.’
Ballad Burn Away was also penned with Jordyn in mind with Grohl saying: ‘I was in love with my future wife and had some romantic f*****g prom ballad. Ugh! We’d never play that f*****g s**t live.
During an August 2018 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Grohl revealed that Blum was rushed to the hospital with appendicitis.
He said: ‘It’s true. I got a text from her, I don’t really feel so good. Then I walk offstage after it was done and she’s like, “I’m on my way to the hospital to get my appendix out.”‘
‘I ran down there, and got there in time. She’s great.’
