Foo Fighters lynchpin Dave Grohl has admitted to fathering a daughter outside of marriage.
The rocker made the admission with a statement on social media, explaining that he “recently” became a father again. The child was born “outside of my marriage” and he plans “to be a loving and supportive parent to her”.
Dave Grohl married Jordyn Blum in 2003 – the two have raised a family together, welcoming three daughters into their lives. The pair met at Sunset Marquis Whiskey Bar in West Hollywood, and have been together for over two decades.
Addressing this, the statement affirms that “I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness”.
It ends: “We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together”.

Foo Fighters completed a global tour this summer, including some huge UK shows. Hitting London Stadium, Dave Grohl earned Swifty criticism after joking onstage that Taylor Swift – performing elsewhere in the same city on the same evening – doesn’t play live.
“So we like to call our tour the ‘Errors Tour.’ We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few fucking errors as well. Just a couple. That’s because we actually play live. What? Just saying. You guys like raw, live rock ‘n’ roll music, right? You came to the right fucking place.”
