The Adult Social Care Business Intelligence Team is looking to recruit an individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work across partner organisations.

What will be expected from me?

  • To lead on the completion of statistical returns related to the Better Care Fund and other partnership datasets.
  • To design, develop and implement automated data flows to extract, transform, and link data.
  • To develop business intelligence across adult social care and health partners to identify population needs, demand, and capacity.
  • To share good practice and foster a culture of continuous data improvement across the Wakefield District Health and Care partnership.
  • To build strong relationships and work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather, interpret and analyse data requirements across the partnership.

Essential requirements:

  • Experience of working within a performance, information, commissioning or quality assurance role.
  • Knowledge of the Adult Social Care sector.
  • Advanced data analysis skills.
  • Ability to use and integrate a variety of software packages/data analysis tools at a high-level, including aspects of computer programming to achieve efficient integration of complex data from a variety of sources.
  • Highly proficient in some or all of the following industry standard business intelligence reporting software and systems such as: Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services, Microsoft Power BI, or SAP Business Objects.
