Tommy Fury has been outed as a cheater after the Danish woman he was accused of ‘brazenly kissing’ during a vacation has clarified the situation, claiming they did, in fact, share a kiss despite first insisting they did not.
Tommy, 25, and his partner of five years, Molly-Mae Hague, 25, announced their heartbreaking split earlier this month in separate Instagram posts, just one year after Tommy asked the influencer to marry him.
While the former couple, who met on Love Island in 2019, didn’t reveal what had led to their break up, the wording of Molly-Mae’s post had fans immediately questioning whether it was because of something Tommy had done.
‘After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way,’ she wrote.
Rumours quickly began circulating that the boxer had been unfaithful to his fiancee, with whom he shares an 18-month-old Bambi, and it wasn’t long before one particular woman was connected to Tommy.
Milla Corfixen, 20, found herself at the centre of controversy after a source revealed that Molly-Mae was ‘told he had cheated on with a Danish woman he’d met while he was away in Macedonia’.
The Sun reported at the time that the Pretty Little Thing ambassador didn’t want to believe it, but when she confronted him, he ‘didn’t deny it’.
Since the alleged incident was revealed, Milla shared her side of the story with The Sun, insisting nothing had happened between her and ‘gentleman’ Tommy and that she had a boyfriend.
‘I am the girl but nothing happened. We just had fun,’ she said. ‘I don’t know what he’s been doing but someone else must have kissed him.’
Following her confession, Milla allegedly was harassed by social media users who were upset about Molly-Mae and Tommy’s split, resulting in her doubling back on her claims.
Taking to her Instagram stories on Sunday, the jewellery assistant revealed she did kiss the boxer, insisting that was all they did.
‘I’ve had to delete all my posts due to the hate and nasty comments, as stated in the news story I have gave [sic]! I didn’t do anything with Tommy Fury….’ She wrote.
‘I didn’t even no [sic] who he was we only shared a kiss nothing else happened. And if I’d of [sic] known about Molly-Mae I would never have kissed him back’.
It comes after another woman claimed she had received ‘flirty’ messages from the boxer on Instagram, only to state later she had been ‘catfished’.
Posting on her TikTok account @kaykeoghx, she showed ‘receipts’ of their messages before telling viewers they weren’t actually from Tommy.
‘Someone was basically, definitely trolling me, because another fake account has messaged me and they’ve literally said to me, “You actually thought that was him, that was me.”‘
She added that she was ‘confused’ about meeting Tommy and claimed someone in a ‘group of guys in Manchester’ could have ‘passed off’ being Tommy.
‘I don’t even now know what he looks like,’ she insisted.
A spokesperson for Tommy previously said: ‘Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he’s consulting his lawyers.’
