Dancing on Ice 2025 adds Love Island and TOWIE stars

Dancing on Ice has confirmed the next three celebrity contestants joining the 2025 skating competition.

Love Island star Chris Taylor, HollyoaksChelsee Healey and The Only Way Is Essex star Dan Edgar were all unveiled as joining the Dancing on Ice line-up in an interview on Heart Radio today.

The three TV stars will be taking to the ice in the popular ITV skating show, which is expected to return to screens early next year.

Healey, who previously competed in Strictly Come Dancing back in 2011, was the first star to confirm their participation, telling listeners: “I’m ready, I’m good to go. Let’s go!

“I’ve got a bit of rhythm, but skating on ice is completely different. I’m excited,” she added. “I’m most excited for the live shows. Getting to perform live every week will give me a buzz. I can’t wait for the live shows.”

TOWIE‘s Dan Edgar was the ninth star to be confirmed, saying live on air that he wasn’t the most natural of dancers.

“I’m looking forward to it, but the thought of the live shows and performing is very real,” he said.

“I like to think I can ice skate a little bit, but I’m a terrible dancer, so that bit is going to need some work.”

Love Island and Celebs Go Dating star Chris Taylor was the third Dancing on Ice celebrity to be confirmed this morning. He shared his nerves and joy at his upcoming skating challenge.

“I’m somewhere between absolutely terrified and very excited, and I keep flitting between the two quite aggressively throughout the day. I’ve not even started stretching yet. I need to,” he said.

“I can skate, but my dad got the snake hips. Unfortunately, I didn’t inherit that genetically from him.”

Edgar isn’t the only TOWIE star who will compete in the 2025 series, with Ferne McCann also confirmed to skate next year.

They’ll be joined on the ice by The Traitors finalist Mollie Pearce, Olympic rowing legend Sir Steve Redgrave, comedian Josh Jones and footballer and pundit Anton Ferdinand – plus soap stars Sam Aston of Coronation Street fame and EastEnders legend Charlie Brooks.

Dancing on Ice will return in 2025 on ITV1 and ITVX.
