Daisy Edgar-Jones‘ Twisters promo tour wardrobe is the gift that keeps on giving. In the past week alone, the actor has stepped out in everything from a tornado-inspired brown knit skirt set to two back-to-back lace bra ensembles – not to mention the epic Wild West-themed photoshoot she posed for in between. Her latest look, however, is by far the most practical of the lot – and perfectly timed for those of us struggling with work dressing this season.
Edgar-Jones’ more out-there looks might be the ones making headlines, but in the absence of a red carpet-filled calendar, they’re not exactly easy to translate into the real world. Which is why we were particularly delighted when photos of the actor looking stylish as hell in all-black suiting popped up on our Instagram feeds this morning.

Styled once again by the image-making genius that is Dani Michelle – the same woman behind Kendall Jenner and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley‘s enviable aesthetics – the Normal People star was the picture of effortless elegance in a fitted blazer, matching capri pants, pointed patent black heels and oversized sunglasses. Her tousled, unbrushed hair also gave the look a chic, undone feel.
Pedal pushers have been trending again for a while now, but this is the best example we’ve seen of them being styled smartly enough to feel office-appropriate for this tricky not-quite-summer season, while still looking cool enough to wear out at night too.
It’s little surprise, then, that Edgar-Jones’ exact outfit – an ensemble by Magda Butrym – is already selling fast online. Race you to the checkout.
