In a fairytale village Hvar, Hvar away…

Tourists looking to holiday in Croatia can make their trip extra enchanting – by booking a stay in a tiny home shaped like a pumpkin, mushroom or a miniature castle.

The three Airbnb properties, listed by hosts Helena and Florijan, are located in the Krka Fairytale Village next to the Krka National Park, with one described as ‘the cutest place ever’ and another as ‘very special’.

A night within the unique houses comes with free internet, air conditioning, heating, parking, barbecues and use of the surrounding garden and orchard.

The ‘fairytale little castle‘ boasts two bedrooms both with double beds as well as a bathroom, kitchen and plenty of amenities.

As part of every stay it also lists a TV, hairdryer, kettle, cooker, cleaning products, hot water, mosquito nets, board games, an indoor fireplace, freezer and washing machine.

The tiny house, made to look like a small castle, also has lots of outdoor space, where guests will find a table and chairs, bench, firepit, outdoor kitchen, BBQ and sun loungers.

Holidaymaker Marcus, from Berlin, said: ‘Helena and Florijan created a very nice, loving place. We felt very comfortable. The outdoor kitchen and great houses make the place very special. Highly recommended!’

While Ollie, from the UK, added: ‘It’s a lovely place to stay. The kids loved the fun cottage and the play park!’

The magic pumpkin is a bright orange, round house made to look like a giant winter squash.

It offers guests one bedroom that can sleep four guests, a kitchen, a toilet, and a bathroom with a shower.

Inside it also has a TV, iron, and hairdryer – however the listing states that hot water and a washing machine are not available in the pumpkin-shaped rental.
