Cup of coffee saved passenger from doomed Brazilian aircraft

Must read

As passengers arrived at the Cascavel airport in Brazil for the short flight to Sao Paulo, none would know the consequences of their last-minute decisions.

Adriano Assis, a hospital worker from Rio de Janeiro, decided to grab a coffee while he waited for the check-in counter to open. Laiana Vasatta, a lawyer, had intended to travel with her husband, Fabio Bigolin, on an earlier flight but was delayed, so she bought one of the last seats available on Voepass flight 2283.

Daniela Schulz and Hiales Fodra, who were heading on to America to celebrate her birthday, made sure that they were ready to board early for the 1-hour 40-minute flight.
