Crazy Town’s Shifty Shellshock dead at 49

Must read

Crazy Town lead singer Shifty Shellshock – whose real name is Seth Binzer – has passed away at the age of 49.

The news was first confirmed by Newsweek that the vocalist was found dead in his home in Los Angeles, citing the death report on the LA medical examiner. No cause of death has been given.

Crazy Town found fame in the late ’90s and early 2000s, thanks to their megahit Butterfly, which hit Number 1 on the U.S. Billboard charts and became a staple of music television and rock clubs across the globe. The band would go on hiatus following their second album Darkhorse in 2003, but reformed in 2007 and released their third album The Brimstone Sluggers in 2015.

Kerrang! sends our deepest condolences to Seth’s family, bandmates and friends.

This is a developing story and we will provide more updates as we get them.
