An insurance and benefits advisory company is creating 45 jobs in Ohio by expanding its offices in Dublin and its headquarters in the Akron suburb of Fairlawn.

The Ohio Tax Credit Authority on Monday approved state tax incentives for Risk International for the job, which will create $4.5 million in new payroll. The company will retain 77 workers as part of the project.

The company says it doesn’t yet have a breakdown of how many jobs will be in Dublin and how many will be in Fairlawn.

The project was one of three to receive approval from the authority on Monday. The projects will create 345 jobs statewide and generate $20 million in new payroll.

“Risk International’s expansion in Ohio marks a pivotal moment of growth and commitment for our company,” Risk International CEO Todd Miller said in a statement. “By deepening our roots in Dublin and strengthening our headquarters in Fairlawn, we’re not just expanding our footprint; we’re investing in local economies and fostering a culture of talent, innovation, and development within our team.”
