The suit — as well as a New York Times story reporting on the alleged details behind it — describes a litany of allegations against Justin and It Ends with Us producer Jamey Heath, including a claim that Justin hired a crisis PR firm to wage a “social manipulation” campaign to “destroy” her reputation. You can read a very detailed rundown of the allegations right here.
You probably know that It Ends with Us is based on the 2016 novel of the same name by author Colleen Hoover.
In the NYT story, it’s reported that Colleen had her own “dissatisfactions” with Justin “and had become more upset” after he told her about Blake’s allegations against him, which led to her deciding not to do press alongside Justin for the film.
Colleen did make press appearances with the rest of the cast, though. Here she is with Blake, Brandon Sklenar, and Isabela Ferrer.
Yesterday, Colleen took to her IG story after news of Blake’s suit broke out to issue a statement of support for the actor.
“You have been nothing but honest, kind, supportive and patient since the day we met,” she wrote. “Thank you for being exactly the human that you are.”
“Never change. Never wilt.”
