Coleen Rooney has been blown away by the response to her stint in I’m A Celebrity. The mum-of-four travelled Down Under for the latest season of TV’s toughest entertainment challenge.

The 38-year-old, who is married to Wayne Rooney, went all the way through to the final of the show and eventually finished in second place behind Danny Jones. The Croxteth native has now returned back to the UK and shared a snap of her on the school run this morning with her Instagram followers.

She has taken to the social media platform again this afternoon to issue a thank you to fans who voted for her during her time in the Australian camp. She captioned the post: “Thank you all soooooo much for the love and support, so overwhelmed and genuinely can’t believe it.

“Thank you to @itv and the amazing @imacelebrity production team, and finally a special special thank you my unreal campmates who have become friends for life xxx”

In the clip Coleen reflected on the response she has received from her time on the show as she said: “I’ve just come on to say wow, wow, wow. I am so overwhelmed with the love, support, generosity, positivity that you’ve all shown while I was in the jungle and since I’ve come out.”

She added: “I can’t thank you enough for your messages and your comments and I am just so glad that you all enjoyed the show this year. Thank you to every single one who has voted for me and kept me in until the end so I got the full jungle experience.

“I can’t thank you enough for that. I absolutely loved it. Don’t get me wrong, it was hard. But with your love and support and my 11 campmates, you all got me through it and I’m so grateful for that.”

Coleen said she is bonded with her 11 campmates and vowed to meet up with them in 2025. She said: “We are friends for life. Our group chat that we have created has not stopped. We’ve all been on this morning to say how jet lagged we all are. Me and Alan [Halsall] were on the school run, some of us are watching trials.

“It’s been a joy to be part of and we are all going to enjoy Christmas. I hope you all enjoy Christmas. In the New Year, we’re going to get together and have a reunion. Do a few things together.”
