Chernobylite: Complete Edition now available for players on Xbox

Chernobylite was one of my favorite games of 2021, so I’m so pleased The Farm 51 has rolled out a ton of content for all players as the game’s final major update. Chernobylite: Complete Edition is a free upgrade for anyone who already owns the base game on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One or who purchases it in the future. Alongside the exciting free update, all players can also enjoy the free Season 4 content.

As for the Complete Edition, players can now access free content from all previously released updates to the game, as well as the recently released Season 4:

  • Monster Hunt
  • Ghost Town
  • Season 1 – Blue Flames
  • Season 2 – Red Trees
  • Season 3 – Green Walls
  • Season 4 – Black Smoke

The Complete Edition adds two standalone updates: Monster Hunt and Ghost Town. Monster Hunt adds three new monsters to chase down, while Ghost Town gives you access to a 3D-scanned recreation of the Pripyat Residential Area filled with the largest Chernobylite crystals found in the Zone. As for Season 1, it packs in a customizable crossbow and photos of Tatyana and Igor scattered through the Zone for even more lore. Season 2 adds six new story missions narrated by Tatyana, along with a rogue-like challenge, and more base improvements. Season 3 features yet another game mode, taking you to a pair of incomplete towers at the infamous power plant, as well as another weapon to wield. Finally, this year’s Season 4 includes a new game mode for exploring safely, VHS tapes based on Ukrainian folklore, and a new experience focusing on the game’s creepy dolls.

If you haven’t checked it out before, we had a fantastic chat with The Farm 51 about how the team brought the Exclusion Zone to life in Chernobylite.
