Chelsea have held talks with Atletico Madrid over their striker Samu Omorodion.
The 20-year old has also been the subject of enquiries from West Ham and Nottingham Forest this window after impressing on a loan spell at Alaves despite only scoring eight goals in 35 league games, which made him their top scorer in La Liga.
The 6ft 4ins Spain U21 international joined Atletico last summer from Granada and has recently switched agents with his family taking on more responsibility for his management.
Roma, AC Milan and Napoli have also expressed interest but Atletico are reluctant to sell cheaply.
Chelsea are continuing parallel negotiations over Aston Villa‘s Jhon Duran and have other options they are also considering.
The Blues have ramped up their interest in signing Duran in recent weeks, with Villa putting a £40million price tag on the Colombian.
Unai Emery’s side are generating funds to stay within Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) and could be willing to sell Duran to recoup more funds.
The London club have been targeting Duran since January, with fans spotting earlier this season that the Colombian had been frequently liking Chelsea-related posts on social media.
Mail Sport also understands that Dominic Solanke has also been on Chelsea’s radar in recent weeks.
