Chelsea have contacted Leicester over a potential move for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

New Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca worked with Dewsbury-Hall last season as Leicester won the Championship title and he is eager to be reunited with the midfielder.

If Dewsbury-Hall was to leave Leicester then Chelsea would be the only club he would be keen on joining. Chelsea have yet to make a formal offer for the 25-year-old, who is valued at around £40million by Leicester.

Maresca believes that Dewsbury-Hall is perfectly suited to the style of football that he wants to play.

Dewsbury-Hall and Maresca are also signed to the same agency, Wasserman.

Aside from loan spells at Blackpool and Luton, Dewsbury-Hall has spent his entire career so far at Leicester and has made over 100 appearances for the Foxes.

Last season was a productive one for Dewsbury-Hall, who scored 12 league goals.

Brentford and Brighton are also interested in Dewsbury-Hall.

The Blues have an agreement in principle to sign 18-year-old Barcelona forward Marc Guiu.

Leicester are under pressure to sell because of ongoing PSR concerns.

Chelsea are also interested in Leeds prospect Archie Gray and are one of several clubs that have asked about the 18-year-old.
