The charity Framework has launched Framework Fashion, an online store offering a range of T-shirts, hoodies, jumpers, and bags, to support its work with homeless and vulnerable individuals.
Profits from the online store will directly aid Frameworkâs mission to end homelessness and tackle disadvantages across the East Midlands and in Sheffield.
The collection, featuring over 30 sustainable clothing and accessories items, has been designed by Frameworkâs graphic designer Iryna Fryer.
Framework launched the range on World Environment Day (5 June) to highlight the eco-friendly nature of the products.
Each item is made in a British factory powered by renewable energy, using certified organic cotton and water-based inks free from toxic chemicals. The plastic-free packaging is designed for reuse or colouring.
There is also no over-production or waste, as each item is printed on demand and can be returned to be remade into new products when worn out.
Claire Eden, Frameworkâs head of fundraising and communications, said:Â âThe launch of Frameworkâs online shop with a dedicated fashion range is a big step in our mission to support people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage. The designs raise awareness of Frameworkâs mission and values, inspiring more people to join our efforts in making a difference, and profits from sales directly support our work.
âWith a wide range of products, several different designs and all at reasonable prices we are confident there will be something for everyone. It is also important that these products are produced with minimal environmental impact and promote care for the planet, sustainability and ethical consumerism. So it is fitting to launch our shop and its exclusive product range on World Environment Day.â
