Every June and January, Paris Fashion Week Men’s takes place to showcase menswear collections for the upcoming seasons.
Only a select few of industry insiders including journalists, buyers, celebrities and top clients are invited to the exclusive bi-annual event.
Victoria Brynner, founder of luxury fashion’s premiere celebrity casting agency Stardust Brands, shares her behind the scenes experience on what its like attending as “Hollywood’s fashion broker.”
Lead advisor to top houses like Chanel, Dior and Balenciaga, Victoria is the architect behind some of the most well-known celebrity brand deals and ad campaigns in recent history.
Including Johnny Depp as the face of Dior’s Sauvage – ranked as the bestselling fragrance in the world for several years, thanks to the handsome actor.
Victoria brought Anne Hathaway to Lancôme, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio to Tag Heuer, and Catherine Deneuve to Louis Vuitton.
In 2015, she helped Pat McGrath create and launch her namesake cosmetics line, a company now valued at $1Billion.
She’s the ultimate Hollywood connector and savvy business woman.
Her role at Fashion Week is a little different than most.
Unlike a buyer who is there to identify trends and strategically plan their buys for the upcoming season, Victoria focuses on more than just the catwalks.
‘Its about the people, too, and having those relationships with fashion editors and art directors as well as some of the top clients,’ she said.
‘It helps for me to understand the creative direction, the fashion movement, what kinds of models are shown and what gets picked up by stores after.
‘Understanding the DNA of the brand and their strategy behind who they choose for campaigns is also key, as is the type of content they create from Fashion Week.’
Off the runway, Victoria can’t help but people watch.
‘I love observing the style of those attending, how celebrities handle themselves and how the photographers manage to get their shots while also taking in the details of the decor.’
Bad Bunny attended the Dior Homme Menswear Spring/Summer 2025 show on June 21st in a cream color pantsuit and matching handbag.
Joining him looking incredibly chic was supermodel Kate Moss in a leggy grey shorts set with a black top and matching pointed-toe high heels.
Beyond the fashions, Victoria recognizes the many details that go into the shows, including seating, venue and lighting.
The seating chart at a runway show is very important, with front row tickets given to those that are most influential to the brand.
Paid celebrities are always front and center while other vie for seats as close as possible to the catwalk.
After closing day one of the menswear shows in Paris as the Men’s Creative Director at Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams attended the Kenzo presentation.
He was spotted front and center shaking hands with Puerto Rican singer, Ozuna.
‘Once the show begins, I make note of the overall energy then start marking the collection’s standouts. After that, I’ll go through slides of each outfit to get a closer look!’
With a full itinerary, Victoria preps for each day like a pro.
‘Lots of coffee and water from 8am to 10am,’ she says.
‘A meeting at 10:30 leading into a lunch. Then we’ll spend most of the day shopping and exploring, fitting in business meetings and shows.
‘I’m always sure to stop in several pharmacies which carry the most amazing beauty and homeopathy remedies.
‘Around 8:30pm-9:00pm, we’ll depart back to the hotel to change and break for dinner.’
While back in her room she indulges in a bath with Kneipp salts (natural bath salts designed to relax, restore, and pamper skin) and drinks lots of Evian water.
‘On the way to evening events, we always make sure to get a twilight sunset walk in at favorite spots like Pont Alexandre III or Les Invalides.’
The evening generally ends around midnight.
In preparation for the week, Victoria tells Daily Mail that she packed one large RIMOWA suitcase and a RIMOWA trunk with stylish daytime outfits, evening looks, and professional attire for business meetings.
RIMOWA is a legendary luggage company that makes top of the line suitcases.
Made of polycarbonate, they’re lightweight, durable, and easy to identify at baggage claim thanks to their sleek lines and signature grooves.
‘I travel with my large The Row Margaux and for the day, I always have a Louis Vuitton cross body bag, with smaller bags for the evening.
‘This season I particularly love a short sleeve mock turtleneck t-shirt by Woolford, it goes with everything!
‘I have a white and black striped skirt which is a great staple, and a vintage Hermes belt and Vintage Chanel chain belt which are good dress up pieces.
‘For shoes, I bring a flat black shoe and a high heel Louboutin in both black and nude for skirts and dresses.
‘My favorite travel dress is Isabel Marant. This year, the Mackintosh navy pea coat-shaped raincoat has been a savior!’
In her toiletry bag holds all her skincare needs, including, face serum, moisturizer, and a tinted sunscreen.
She leaves most of her hair products at home saying, ‘most French hair dressers are so good and easy to book in all the neighborhoods.’
It wouldn’t be a trip to Paris without fine dining.
In the City of Lights, Victoria favors ‘grilled sole, string beans and plain berries and lots of Evian – clean, delicious, tasty and available most places.’
She recommends a visit to La Poule au Pot located at 9 Rue Vauvilliers.
‘It’s so cozy and such good indulgent food, beautiful lighting, quiet and off the beaten path for traditional, elevated French Cuisine by acclaimed chef Jean Francois Piege.’
Victoria names Hotel Plaza as a must for drinks.
The Hotel Plaza Athénée is one of most iconic luxury 5-star hotels, located opposite the Eiffel Tower.
After a long week, the agent unwinds with a relaxing treatment at the Dior Spa at the Plaza or Cheval Blanc.
