British sportswear brand Castore has opened a 1,302 sq ft new store at Outlet Shopping at The O2, marking the brand’s London outlet debut.
Stocking a mix of Castore’s men’s and women’s sports collections, as well as a dedicated junior’s section, the new store is adjacent to Reiss on the upper level of the shopping centre.

Castore joins a whole host of other sportswear brands at The O2, including Adidas, New Balance, Nike and Under Armour, further bolstering the strength of The O2’s sportswear category which, so far this year, has witnessed a like-for-like net sales growth of 18% versus the same period in 2023 (1 January – 21 May), and an average transaction value (ATV) increase of 8.9%.

Will Clarke, Chief Merchandising and Operating Officer at Castore, said: “We are thrilled to amplify our ‘Better Never Stops’ philosophy with the opening of our first London-based Castore outlet store at The O2.

“This is an exciting time for the brand as we continue our growth trajectory and we look forward to embedding ourselves within our new location.”

Louisa Dalgleish, Leasing Director at Outlet Shopping at The O2, commented: “Our sportswear category at The O2 consistently performs at an exceptional standard, and our new opening with Castore further highlights our position as not just a dominant outlet within the UK, but a destination of choice for well known brands.

“The growth of our sportswear category underpins the success that brands can achieve here due to the fantastic foundations we have built at The O2, actively managing and listening to our customers at every step. We are a destination that continues to evolve, and Castore is a fantastic addition that will fit in seamlessly with our wider portfolio.”

Last weekend saw Castore founders and brothers, Tom and Phil Beahon, ranked at number 11 in the Sunday Times’ first ever ‘40 under 40’ richest people in the UK, currently worth £334m.
