Must read

Carole Middleton has made a second Wimbledon trip as uncertainty is continuing to surround her daughter, Princess Kate.

The Princess of Wales’s parents smiled at well-wishers as they arrived to take their seats on Centre Court on Wednesday.

Carole, 69, cut an elegant figure in a white floral and green dress from Me + Em, which has already sold out on the designer label’s website.

Princess Kate’s mother additionally wore a grey checkered blazer from the same brand.

She accessorised with sunglasses from the brand Zanzan, which her daughter Pippa Middleton owns too.

For footwear, Carole opted to wear a pair of £495 tan block heels from the label Emmy London.

Today’s appearance was Carole and Michael’s second time attending Wimbledon in 2024.

The Royal Family was out in force on Wednesday, with Queen Camilla, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips also taking their seats at Centre Court.

One senior member of the Royal Family who is yet to attend the SW19 tennis competition this year is Princess Kate, 42.

The mother-of-three is currently undergoing chemotherapy, so has stepped back from royal duties.

As royal patron of the All-England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the Princess of Wales usually presents trophies to the champions each year.

Wimbledon organisers have not ruled out an appearance from Kate, who broke cover last month to attend Trooping the Colour at Buckingham Palace.

Her attendance at the tennis competition and all upcoming events will depend on getting the green light from doctors, according to Kensington Palace.

Last month, Kate issued a rare statement updating royal fans on her cancer journey.

She said: “My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months.

“On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.

“I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet.”
