When she was finished, Uma called over a group of the photographers and they beamed as she stood, arms outstretched, in front of them.
Later on, Uma larked about with Oh, Canada leading man Richard Gere and the film’s director and writer Paul Schrader.
Uma and Paul posed for a selfie taken by Richard before Uma whipped out her own phone again to take one, too.
The dashing Richard looked handsome in an all-black suit with matching sunglasses but no tie.
Paul, who Uma soon wrapped her arms around, wore a near-identical suit complete with black sunglasses but opted for a polo shirt.
Actress-turned-photographer Uma then expertly leant back to take a few snaps of her colleagues.
Not one to be left out, Richard wrapped his arms around Paul and while Uma warmly welcomed David Gonzalez.
Richard put a supportive hand on Paul’s back as he leant over and Uma turned away from the men to lower her sunglasses once more and charmingly stare down attendees

It comes after Uma and Nathalie Emmanuel were the epitome of chic as they lead the glamour at the premiere.
The Kill Bill star commanded attention as she paired the dress with a matching white trench coat featuring a small train.
Following closely behind was Megalopolis star Nathalie, 35, who does not appear in the film but looked stunning in a burnt champagne toule dress.
Adding something different to her look, Nathalie paired her pretty dress with a royal sheer cape featuring a ruffled neck a quaint black bow.
Elsewhere, leading man and Pretty Woman star Richard Gere, 74, looked as handsome as ever as he stepped out wearing a classic two-piece tuxedo.
Jacob Elordi, who portrays Richard’s character’s younger self, opted to skip the premiere – and Cannes altogether.
Oh, Canada delves into the life of a tormented writer on the brink of death (Uma) and a Canadian-American leftist (Richard) who fled to Canada to avoid the Vietnam War draft.
The drama film is written and directed by Paul Schrader and is based on the 2021 novel Foregone by Russel Banks.
