Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC can confirm that it has agreed an undisclosed transfer agreement for defender Cameron Harper to join Carlisle United FC.
Cameron first joined the club at 11 years-old and signed for the club full-time in summer 2018, becoming an ICTFC Academy Graduate.
Harper’s real breakthrough season came in 2020/21 as he made 29 appearances throughout the campaign. He was called up to the Scotland Under 21s squad in June 2021, earning a cap against Northern Ireland.
In 2021/22, Cameron scored his first goal for the club as he netted against Buckie Thistle in the Premier Sports Cup in July. During the 2022/23 campaign, Cameron scored 7 goals and made 43 as he played a key role in helping the club to the Scottish Cup Final against Celtic. He was named the club’s Player’s Young Player of the Season for 2022/23.
Last season, Cameron played every minute of every league match for the club and hit goals against Arbroath, Queen’s Park and Greenock Morton.
In total, Cameron played 164 times for the club, scoring 12 goals for the club.
