Tragedy this morning in Fasano, in the Brindisi area, where a 25-year-old girl, Clelia Ditano, died in a building in Via Piave, having fallen into an elevator shaft .
Apparently the victim, who lived on the fourth floor, called the elevator. The door opened even though there was no cabin, which did not go back up. And the young woman took a step to enter and fell into the void , crashing into the elevator cabin which was stopped on the first floor.
The firefighters intervened to recover the girl’s body. The Carabinieri were also on site carrying out investigations aimed at reconstructing exactly the dynamics of what happened. The building where the accident occurred is owned by Arca (regional housing and living agency) Nord Salento .
