Bullring bosses have called it ‘an exciting time’ after Sephora confirmed it would be opening a huge new store at the city centre’s shopping centre. Hammerson, which owns the Bullring and Grand Central, said Sephora was their ‘customer’s most wanted brand’.

Sephora has confirmed plans to open a 4,925 square foot store at the Bullring in ‘winter 2024’. It will open on the upper level, in the former Victoria’s Secret, adjacent to the areas that have recently welcomed the likes of Marks & Spencer, TOCA Social, Bershka and Pull&Bear – and where Zara will also open.

Bosses say Sephora is set to revolutionise the beauty offering within the Bullring by becoming a ‘haven for beauty lovers’. It will also offer global and exclusive brands that are currently unavailable to buy within the region.

Harry Badham, chief development and asset repositioning officer at Hammerson, said: “The signing of Sephora is another strategic milestone for Bullring, as we continue to bring new experiences to our visitors. Sephora was our customers’ most wanted brand and the new store unlocks a significant investment from another high profile occupier with an international following.

“This is an exciting time for Bullring and demonstrates the demand we have for prime locations and the agility with which we are repositioning our offer.”

The announcement of Sephora opening at the Bullring comes hot on the heels of other new stores and experiences at the centre. It includes the immersive football concept TOCA Social, Swatch, Clarks and independent brand Pop Street. A significantly upsized Zara is also due to open.
