A British tourist who was on holiday with her husband in Greece has fallen to her death at a Crete hotel.
The woman, 65, was staying at the hotel in Hersonissos before the tragic incident took place.
Emergency services dashed to the scene and the traveller was hospitalised in critical condition and with serious injuries at Venizelio hospital, according to local reports.
Medics intubated her and transferred her to the Intensive Care Unit where she succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday.

It comes after a Brit tourist died while swimming at a Cyprus holiday hotspot today.
The 62-year-old was pulled from the water at a beach in Peyia, in the west of the island, after he disappeared from sight.
He was brought to the shore where emergency crews performed CPR on him, but the man did not survive, SigmaLive reported.
The man was then rushed to Paphos General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
