The 19-year-old son of a celebrated British war photographer has been arrested on suspicion of murder after his father was found stabbed on a Los Angeles hiking trail.
Paul Lowe, 61, was found on Saturday afternoon with stab wounds to his neck and torso, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His son, Emir Abadzic-Lowe, was seen by police driving away from the scene. He crashed his car and was arrested on suspicion of murder, based on his own account of events and witnesses.
He was due to appear in West Covina superior court on Tuesday morning, but it was not clear whether his arraignment proceeded.
Lowe taught documentary photography at the London College of Communication
