The BFC Fashion Trust Supports Emerging Designers With Targeted Goals for Growing Their Business

The British Fashion Council has unveiled the recipients of its 2024 Fashion Trust grants, a part of the BFC Foundation aimed at propelling the business growth of emerging designers through financial support and mentoring.

The 2024 grantees comprise Completedworks, Conner Ives, E.L.V. Denim, Helen Kirkum, Labrum London, and Tove. These designers have been recognized for their specific plans to expand and enhance areas of their businesses within a defined timeframe.

Speaking to the excitement around the announcement, BFC Chief Executive Caroline Rush CBE said:

We are thrilled to support the recipients as they grow specific areas of their business, enabling them to develop their strategy and become globally successful brands. This group of designers embody creativity, innovation and agility and it’s been inspiring to watch them tackle the industry’s key issues and thrive in a turbulent landscape. Since the establishment of the BFC Fashion Trust in 2011, the initiative has distributed over £3 million across 58 designer businesses, assisting them in implementing practical and strategic solutions in various areas such as merchandising, e-commerce, production, and sampling. Notable past recipients of the grants include high-profile designers like Chopova Lowena, Christopher Kane, David Koma, Emilia Wickstead, Erdem, Mary Katrantzou, Molly Goddard, Rejina Pyo, Roksanda, Sophia Webster, and Wales Bonner.

The BFC Fashion Trust is a core component of the BFC Foundation, which consolidates all of the BFC’s charitable endeavors. The Foundation is dedicated to nurturing the long-term growth and success of the British fashion industry by concentrating on three key pillars: education, grant-giving, and business mentoring.
