Britain’s Got Talent risks Ofcom complaints as Amanda Holden appears ‘naked’

Must read

Britain’s Got Talent returned for the fourth episode of live semi-finals on Thursday evening and Amanda Holden stole the show with her stunning outfit choice once more.

Some of her outfits in recent years have attracted attention, including having been the subject of complaints to communications regulator Ofcom. Often opting for controversial fashion choices, the 53-year-old talent show judge dazzled the audience in gold tonight as she wore a figure-hugging, low-cut gown.

Amanda completed the look with some chunky stone-coloured bangles on her arm and a pair of golden heels. She wore her hair down and slicked to the side.

She debuted the dress during the live semi-final itself and later showcased it further in two posts on Instagram after the episode began on Thursday evening. Many of her followers loved the look with some saying the BGT star looked “breathtaking” and “lovely” in it.

One Instagram user said: “Golden Holden. This dress is beautiful and you are beautiful in it.” Another penned: “Gorgeous in gold.” Someone else wrote: “Yet again you look absolutely stunning beautiful. A fourth said: “Stunningly beautiful and elegant!”

However, others pointed out that she looked like she was lacking some clothing.

One user said: “Looks like she’s wearing a naked dress. She looks naked but she looks unreal.” Another added: “Wear a bra. It’s a kids program for god sake Amanda but love ya.” (sic)

Amanda has previously shared that she enjoys walking around naked at home.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, who has been in the public eye for more than 30 years, is keen to promote body confidence to her kids – Hollie, 12, and Lexi, 18.

She admitted that her eldest daughter is “constantly telling her to put clothes on”, but the 53-year-old mum said she likes to flaunt her body as she likes to think she has “taught both girls the importance of body positivity and feeling confident in themselves”.

While Amanda has made some controversial outfit choices in the past, she said that she would not apologise to anyone for the clothes that she wears.

She said: “I absolutely love fashion. Look, I don’t put on revealing outfits on purpose and I am damned if anyone is going to dictate what I wear. If I want to dress up and feel sexy then so be it. I’m not going to apologise for the clothes I wear to anyone.”

Britain’s Got Talent continues with the last live semi-final of the latest series on Friday night on ITV and ITVX from 8pm.
