That difficult second album has become a lot harder for the year’s breakout musical star Raye as she revealed her songwriting books had been stolen.
Raye, who won a record six prizes at the Brit awards this year, said her car had been stolen “with all my songwriting books in the boot”.
She told disappointed fans that the theft meant there would be “no second album any time soon”.

The 27-year-old singer-songwriter made music history with her 2023 debut album My 21st Century Blues, which won album of the year at the Brits in March this year.
