Not every Brabus model can be like its radical AMG GT-based Rocket GTS, mainly because many people, even Brabus’ wealthy clientele, wouldn’t be able to afford one. Plus, everyone has different needs and preferences, whether that be for a practical monster Merc or one with a classic coupe body. That’s where the German tuner’s three newest models come in. One is based on the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT 63, and the others are based on the 2024 Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance and its GLC-Class sibling. All of them make more than 700 horsepower.
Mercedes-Benz
While its roots trace back to the Benz Patent Motorwagen in 1895, Mercedes-Benz was officially founded in June 1926 when Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft and Benz & Cie. (the world’s oldest car company) merged to create Daimler-Benz. This German manufacturer of premium cars is historically known for its motorsport pedigree in early Grand Prix racing, its off-road prowess in the creation of military vehicles like the Genadewagen (now G-Class), and its focus on utmost luxury and technological innovation in models like the S-Class and SL. Today, it is one of the world’s largest automakers.

Hellcat Power From Four Cylinders (And An Electric Motor)
We’re going to start with the four-cylinder cars since they represent the newest in Brabus power upgrades (the AMG GT model shares its engine specs with other recent Brabus cars). Both the C- and GLC-Class models are designated Brabus 730, and they get the same retuned ECUs designated PowerXtra B20E-730, which increases the amount of boost and adjusts fuel and timing to match. The remap only affects the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder on the cars, not the electric motor. Power increases by 50 hp and torque by 74 lb-ft for grand totals of 720 hp and 826 lb-ft. This allows the Brabus 730 C-Class sedan and wagon to hit 62 mph in 3.2 seconds, and the GLC-Class in 3.3 seconds. The sedan has the highest electronically-limited top speed of 174 mph, followed by the SUV at 171 mph, and the wagon at 168 mph.

The C-Class cars also benefit from Brabus-tuned springs that sit on adjustable perches. At their highest settings, the suspension setup lowers the cars by 0.2 inches, and if desired, can be lowered by 0.8 inches. The GLC-Class, though, sees no suspension changes. The exterior of every Brabus 730 includes an array of carbon fiber adornments, here including front intake inserts, front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser, plus carbon fiber exhaust tip surrounds. The C-Class models get 21-inch forged 10-spoke wheels, while the GLC-Class can be had with either 21- or 22-inch units. Inside, all these Brabus 730s get Brabus-branded door sill plates and floor mats, and a choice of either aluminum or carbon fiber pedal covers.

Brabus’ Latest Build Is Proof BMW Needs To Reinvent An Icon
Brabus has recently shown off a radical new coach built shooting brake based on an AMG GT, and this is why BMW should take note.
Pricing will vary a little bit based on customer orders, but Brabus has an example of each ready for purchase right now. Converted from Euros, the Brabus 730 GLC-Class is $220,872, the C-Class wagon is $211,961, and the sedan is $207,036. Brabus also sells the various performance and styling parts as accessories if you’d like to build your Brabus à la carte.
Classic Power Upgrades In A Classic Coupe Body
This brings us to the Brabus 750, which is based on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63. Brabus goes beyond just retuning the engine computer for this coupe, opting to also replace both turbochargers with upgraded units, and upgrading the exhaust. The whole upgrade is called PowerXtra B40S-750, and it adds 163 hp and 74 lb-ft of torque to the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8. Totals come to 740 hp and 664 lb-ft. Brabus claims it will get to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds on the way to a 196 mph electronically-limited top speed.

Out of all the German tuners out there, Brabus stands out with lineup of crazy creations.
Brabus does offer a power upgrade that only remaps the ECU called the PowerXtra B40-650. It’s not as potent but still offers 641 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. Similar to the Brabus 730s, the Brabus 750 AMG GT gets light chassis tweaks and a smattering of visual accessories. It has Brabus-tuned springs that lower it an inch, though they have fixed spring perches, so they can’t be further adjusted. Carbon fiber appears on the grille inserts, front splitter, side vent inserts, side skirts, rear spoiler, and rear diffuser. Brabus claims an increase in downforce, but doesn’t say by how much. The interior gets custom mats, sill plates, and pedal covers, as usual.
Again, pricing varies for custom orders, but Brabus has an example ready for purchase. Converting to dollars, it comes out to $334,526.81.
