A body language expert has unleashed her brutal verdict on Prince Harry’s new Netflix documentary Polo where Meghan Markle commands “looks of respect”.
The Duke of Sussex made just one appearance in the first episode, which is streamed in five parts, and only appears to make a handful of appearances in total – with the royal nowhere to be seen in the second and third episode.
Notably, Meghan Markle is listed as an executive producer alongside her husband and also features in the final episode.
According to body language expert Judi James, the documentary “looks like an Eton Mess mash-up of Jilly Cooper and TOWIE”.
And Meghan who talks to the polo players as if she was on a “Royal visit” seemingly invites Harry into conversations.
Judi told Express.co.uk: “This documentary looks like an Eton Mess mash-up of Jilly Cooper and TOWIE.
“Harry’s love of the peacocking, macho world of Polo comes across clearly but when he and Meghan do appear in brief moments she is very emphatically not depicted as any Pimms-swigging, divot-trampling WAG.
“Meghan’s presence provides the royal effect as she steps in to be introduced to a player and Harry steps back to chuckle at the sight of the player bending his head and offering a handshake and a giggle.”
The body language expert added that Harry goes into playful mode, showing that he “loves making his wife laugh”.
Judi said: “Meghan turns the shake into a hug and both Harry and the player giggle and chuckle like schoolboys.
She added: Meghan is seen chatting as though on a royal visit and it’s Meghan extending a hand to touch her husband to invite him into the conversation.
“She also commands looks of respect and she walks across the stage to give Harry his trophy and he goes into playful mode, pointing to his chest as though to ask ‘Me?’
“He clearly loves making his wife laugh but steps out of macho-player mode to do so, kissing her quickly and showing strong signals of pride here.”
While introducing Meghan, Harry revealed that his wife is “also fluent in Spanish”, with a conversation then occuring between the Duchess of Sussex and his teammate on the Team Royal Salute Sentebale, Alfonso Cambiaso.
She told him: “I lived there about 20 years ago. In Palermo Viejo (Buenos Aires).”
In a brief humorous moment, Harry is then asked if he can also speak Spanish. To which Meghan jokes, ‘Yes’, before Harry quickly replies: “Haha! He knows I don’t!”
