A woman has revealed how things turned awkward when she did a workout in front of her male pal at the gym.
Fitness enthusiasts TT and Austin, who regularly post their workout antics on TikTok, shared a video that’s got everyone talking about the sometimes cringe-worthy layout of gym equipment.
In the viral clip, TT is seen in a squat position lifting weights while Austin is perched right behind her working on a Lat pulldown machine.
The unfortunate placement of their workout stations means Austin is faced with the uncomfortable choice of either staring at his mate’s bum or awkwardly gazing upwards.
“Bro didn’t want to get caught in 4K,” TT joked in the caption, adding: “Guy staring at the ceiling [because] whoever placed these machines at my gym has zero chill.”

The hilarious yet relatable video has racked up over 8million views, with fellow TikTokers chiming in about similar awkward gym layouts. “This is so real,” one user commented, while another shared: “My husband has straight up changed his workout routine when women get on machines in front of him. One time he left bc the same girl kept on following him.”
A third chimed in with: “My gym is the same way basically anywhere you doing any motion of squat or something the bench is literally right there.” Meanwhile, a fourth confessed worriedly: “I always worry that I’m gonna accidentally stare at people, cause I am anxious and will look at anything that I see move.”
Others, however, were quick to sing Austin’s praises for the “respect” he gave his pal. “He’s trying his best to be respectful!” someone enthused. “He’s got my respect,” said another, showing support.
A third person commented: “Blogging his stressed-out little heart,” while another TikTok user agreed: “Mate wasn’t just sweating from the workout, he was proper stressed out.”
