What’s new in Season 1 Reloaded?
With an exhaustive amount of new content coming to the game’s twin online modes (Multiplayer and Zombies), we’ve detailed the main features you need to know below. Check out Activision’s blog post here for a full list of updates.
After weeks of teasers, players will finally experience the terrors of Citadelle des Morts at the start of S1 Reloaded.
Continuing the Terminus main quest, the third round-based Zombies map sees players fending off hordes of the undead in a medieval fortress in the fictional state of Avalon. Inside the ruins dwells a new type of enemy known as the Doppelghast, a two-headed monstrosity faster and less predictable than its brain-dead counterparts.

You’ll need to use all your tools to slay the swarm, from the castle’s boiling oil traps to the new Bastard Sword claymore. The latter comes in four elemental variants that even He-Man would be proud of: Caliburn (fire), Durendal (electric), Balmung (Aether-powered), and Solais (radiant).
If you’re looking for better loot, down the new Vulture Aid Elixir from the Perk-a-Cola machine. The magical energy drink can also be augmented to trigger different item drops, such as ammo for Wonder Weapons and increased Salvage.

For some extra firepower, equipping the new Tesla Storm unleashes a lightning bolt that tethers to other players, damaging regular enemies. It can also be augmented to increase its strength and duration.
Rounding out the Zombies updates are three new GobbleGum flavours (Power Keg, Time Out, and Holiday Cheer); a new training course for newcomers to get their bearings; and a snowy Jingle Hells mode for Liberty Falls.
Meanwhile, multiplayer is adding three new maps including Hacienda (remastered), Racket (new), and the Nuketown Holiday festive variant.
