BGT finalist suffers shock injury and forced to crawl off the stage ‘in agony’

BRITAIN’S Got Talent finalists had to think fast after a nasty fall during their finale performance.

Performance troupe Ssaulabi were fighting for the £250,000 prize and a slot at this year’s Royal Variety Performance during tonight’s live finale.

As the show hit the halfway point, the stunt collective started off well with their performance,

But things quickly went south during an airstunt, where two of the performers were flung through the air, meaning to high kick wooden blocks as they did so.

However, one didn’t go to plan, colliding in the middle, and one teammates landed badly on their foot.

Judge Alesha Dixon recoiled in horror over the moment, as the performer tried to stand up before collapsing.

He eventually had to crawl off the stage for help as the cameras cut away and the routine continued without interruption.

Eventually they returned for the deliberations, joining the back of the team.

Alesha noted the incident, saying she hoped they were OK.

But fans were desperate to know that the star was alright, fearing he may have broken his foot as a result of the fall.

“Did one of the performers just break their foot [shocked face] looked serious #bgtfinal,” one wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Another added: “This is ever so cool but did I just see mateyboi break his foot and crawl off? That’s gotta hurt #bgtfinal”

The Sun has contacted Britain’s Got Talent for comment.

Ssaulabi were fighting for the top spot in tonight’s finale against ten other acts who all had a shot at stardom.

These included opera singer Innocent Masuku; magician Jack Rhodes; Double Dutch group Haribow; singer Sydnie Christmas; singer/impersonator Mike Woodhams; Dancing duo Abigail and Afronitaaa; The Northants Sings Out choir; comedian Alex Mitchell and magician Trixy.

The Trickstars, a dog performing team, were the show’s wildcard – which caused uproar among fans who didn’t believe they deserved to be brought back.
